ANZAC DAY 25 APRIL, AGM, Pizza etc UPDATE!

Hi Everyone,

ANZAC DAY, Thursday 25 April! Keep that evening free!

Venue: Trows, Vesterbrogade 125, who have kindly let us borrow their back
room.

The plan is:
6 pm: Gourmet Pizza for those who would like to come and eat together.
7 pm: AGM
After the AGM: ANZAC DAY: we remember, a few words, Anzac biscuits.
Then we socialise and open the back room for other guests.

If you want to come for pizza drop us a line at
committee@southerncrossclub.dk We require a deposit of 50 kr
to be paid by midnight Tuesday 23 April for those eating pizza. Details of
how to pay will be sent to you when we receive your email. You'll get the 50
kr back, and in fact won't pay anything as the club will pay for the pizzas.
The pizzas will come from Leo's and are Italian. We eat them in the back
room at Trows.

AGM: If it suits you better come at 7 pm for the AGM. We'd like to know if
you're coming, but you can also just turn up. New committee members would be
very welcome. If you don't have time for that help to organise an event
would also be welcome. But come to the AGM in anyway: you don't have to
commit yourself to anything. We'll just be glad to see you.

You can also pop in after the AGM, but we would like you at the AGM so we are
sure of having a quorum.

Trows is a Scottish craft beer bar. Their motto: "Scottish Beers, Danish
Hygge". We can take our own food in, but we're obliged to buy our drinks at
the bar.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Pre Christmas Pub Evening, Bartof Cafe, Friday 8 December 6.30 pm

We're afraid there'll be no Christmas Party this year, but we will be meeting for a pre-Christmas pub evening. And if our treasurer comes the first drink for members may even be on the club.

The venue: Bartof Café, Nordre Fasanvej 46, Frederiksberg. It's just a few minutes walk from Fasanvej Metro Station.

I have tried to invite Santa along. As there's no email on North Pole I've written via Post Danmark. As all us Kiwis and Aussies know, Santa lives at North Pole. But Post Danmark keeps sending my letters to Greenland, so he doesn't receive them!

We hope to see as many of you as possible. Bring a bit of Christmas cheer. Make new friends and see old friends.

Bartof has a great choice of beers, not to mentions whiskey and such things. You can even get a bite to eat.

Looking forward to seeing you all!

President
